Background
Spanish
Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Commission (ESHACPC) is an
African-Spanish led non-profit international development
organizations to support Central African Regional development, disaster torn
and impoverished Central African Region nations.
Since our
establishment in 2010, Spanish Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Commission has delivered more than $ 129 million in development/
rehabilitation and direct assistance to tens of millions of men,
women and children across the Central African Region / African
continent. This is because we believe that to develop Africa, the
fundamental cause of the underdevelopment and crisis in that
continent / region which are instability, terrorism, corruption,
poverty and low standard of living as a result of mass illiteracy
must be eradicated as its obvious that anything that reduces mass
illiteracy in any region of the world will inevitably reduce poverty
and elevate the standard of living of the affected people.
This is why the ESHACPC) board is composed of almost entirely
African staff with an unparalleled knowledge of the continent - its
challenges and opportunities. Through our direct community
engagement, we have nurtured valuable relationships with key local
figures ranging from community leaders and traditional authorities
to presidents and prime ministers.
Spanish Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Commission centers its development /
rehabilitation approach on providing & assisting the state
authorities of the nations where we work with the basic human
development needs such as: healthcare, education, economic
development, sanitation, and many other forms of assistance to the
highly vulnerable communities.
Spanish Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Commission impact and coverage is among
the deepest of any organization working in Africa, representing
numerous projects in 7 countries Central Africa Region-wide since
inception toward making the Central African States societies
equipped to ensure that pathways out of poverty are sustained/
achieved.
Having sufficient personal protective equipment is crucial for the emergency services personnel and health professionals on the frontlines of combating COVID-19, ESHACPC is making excess PPE available to these responders, and we also stand ready to perform missions we may be called upon to fulfill in this ongoing fight.
A large part of our field activities are geared towards internally displaced people (IDPs) and refugees. With the number of people who have been forcibly displaced doubling over the last decade, their health needs continue to mount, and are not always met. Our roots were put down in the camps set up for Congolese and Republique centrafricaine refugees. ESHACPC has a long history of assisting and protecting these populations.
The Water Project is designed to bringing relief to communities around the region who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation.
